Great Ocean Road Tour

It was an awesome tour for our last day in Melbourne. We had stunning views of a rocky coastline with very strong waves today. We then took a short walk in a rain forest. Afterwards, we were able to spot Koalas and Kangaroos in the wild. We met many wonderful people on the tour and our guide Chris was excellent. Everything about this trip went smoothly, it truly was a trip of a lifetime.

Took a wonderful tour to Phillip Island where we could watch the penguins parade. We stopped at Moonlit Sanctuary and fed Wallabies and Kangaroos on our journey. Also, made a few other stops to check out the coastline. It was a wet and windy day, so it was great to be on a bus.

Well who knew that the First Grand Prix race of the season will be in Melbourne on Sunday? The city is hopping with festivals, fan zones, concerts, etc…. It took us a little bit to get oriented as numerous transit modifications were in play, but we succeeded.😁👍. Walked around the Queen Victoria Market and then headed to Flinders Station where all the action was happening. It sits along the Yarra River with a park and walking trails along the river. Nancy and I are now members of the Williams Race Team so we could join the fan club activities. Also took a stroll along Hosier Lane which is famous for the street art.

Wrapping up our last day of touring Sydney with a ferry ride to Watson’s Bay. Hiked along the beautiful coast line of the Tasman Sea. Then traveled to the iconic Bondi Beach and took another hike along the coast. This coastline was full of wonderful beaches.
