By land and by sea

Today was an excellent day! We were at Abel Tasman National Park, started with 3 hour kayaking trip around a few islands, saw some fur seals and interesting birds and again the clear blue water was amazing. Once we got done kayaking they provided us lunch at the beach and we then hiked back along a trail that gave us great views of the sea.

Great Ocean Road Tour

It was an awesome tour for our last day in Melbourne. We had stunning views of a rocky coastline with very strong waves today. We then took a short walk in a rain forest. Afterwards, we were able to spot Koalas and Kangaroos in the wild. We met many wonderful people on the tour and our guide Chris was excellent. Everything about this trip went smoothly, it truly was a trip of a lifetime.

Melbourne- our last leg of this wonderful trip

Well who knew that the First Grand Prix race of the season will be in Melbourne on Sunday? The city is hopping with festivals, fan zones, concerts, etc…. It took us a little bit to get oriented as numerous transit modifications were in play, but we succeeded.😁👍. Walked around the Queen Victoria Market and then headed to Flinders Station where all the action was happening. It sits along the Yarra River with a park and walking trails along the river. Nancy and I are now members of the Williams Race Team so we could join the fan club activities. Also took a stroll along Hosier Lane which is famous for the street art.
